Payroll Assistant – June 21, 2018

Solutions Staffing is currently seeking part time employment for a payroll assistant; required immediately in a busy, dynamic office environment in Prince George.  This position will assist in billing, payroll, reporting and data entry for Solutions Staffing employees.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and auditing accounts payable/receivable
  • Sort, code timesheets and match invoices
  • Enter and upload invoices into system
  • Process timesheets and expense reports
  • Upload credit card transactions; code and enter into system
  • Assist the payroll department as needed
  • GST, WCB and other required government filings
  • Administration duties as and when required

 

A successful candidate will be proficient in MS Office, Excel and Outlook with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure. You must be a positive, motivated, outgoing individual with exceptional communication skills.

This position will be approx. 12-20 hours/week with a flexible schedule.

Solutions Staffing is currently seeking part time employment for a Human Resource assistant; required immediately in a busy, dynamic office environment in Prince George.  This position will assist in all HR aspects, reporting and data entry for Solutions Staffing employees.

This position will have an opportunity to move into full time hours

The Key accountabilities for this role include:

  • Helping to create and maintain a candidate database
  • Reviewing application documents and calling candidates to pre-screen
  • Following through with the Application process by coordinating interviews, file updates, preparing documentation and communicating with candidates
  • Maintaining electronic and paper candidate files
  • Correspondence with a multitude of organizations to verify and confirm a candidate submitted documentation

 Required Experience and Attributes:    

  • One year working in a Human Resources Role; or combined Education and experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent creative writing skills
  • Experience with large database systems and all aspects of Microsoft Office
