Provincial State of Emergency

Travelers,

We are following up with all employees affected by the wild fires.  Please touch base with your recruiter or our office if we have NOT contacted you.  If you are instructed to leave your assignment due to hospital closures, please call the office for safety information immediately.  Communities are being evacuated and individual assignments will be affected, updates are coming in hourly now, please check in.  We are in communication with all facilities and have fanned out our emergency call list.

Before leaving a community, please call Solutions and also check on highway closures, road conditions, weather and fire status for your area at:

Before leaving any community, please ensure you have done the following:

  • Complete a safety check on your vehicle
  • Pack water with you
  • Ensure you have first aid supplies
  • Ensure you have an emergency kit
  • Charge your cell phone, check that its working, if you don’t have a cell phone, please call the office to arrange alternative methods of communication
  • Call Solutions and set up check ins for your trip including your departure time, route and expected time of arrival
