Stories From The Road – December 1, 2017

Wildlife was abundant in Kitkatla, from sea lions, to bald eagles.

Wildlife was abundant in Kitkatla, from sea lions, to bald eagles. Amazing sunset view from Kitkatla after a days work, back balcony facing water and woods so serene. On Easter Sunday in Kitkatla, I was looking outside my back porch and saw on the church`s cross a bald eagle how surreal that was, especially on Easter Sunday.

Getting on my first ferry ride to Hartley Bay, beautiful peaceful waves from the boat and stunning scenery.

Beautiful Tsay Keh beach where endless driftwood meets the beach with beautiful mountains in the distance. On my days off, a black bear roams through the woods, not camera shy!

While doing assignment in Port Alberni, I took a drive to Hatley Castle, in Victoria where peacocks roam free all over the property, he let me take a perfect up-close shot of his marble eyes.
