Taken a mere three days ago after my last night shift in 100 Mile House.
I had been given an insider’s tip that waterfall country was just around the bend in Wells Gray Provincial Park, a place I had never even heard of. Bleary from working nights, I headed late to the park with few expectations of what would await me. Arriving at the golden hour to Helmcken Falls (named after an esteemed doctor around the time of confederation), I was greeted by this. A waterfall with a rainbow coming out of it? Come on. The unicorn of nature sightings. I can hardly believe this picture is real. Such a gift! Reflecting on these memories has given me such an appreciation of what you’ve offered me as my Solutions Staffing recruiter.
